As it celebrates 100 years in Canada, the War Amps program is touting its keychain program.
Public Awareness Officer Jamie Lunn says if you find someone’s lost keys with a war amp key chain, you can drop it off at any post office or simply call the number on the tag.
The service, which Lunn explains has been growing in popularity, is free of charge, although some choose to donate to the War Amps to support the program.
Lunn says the key chain program was added after the Second World War.
She adds there is still more work to do in advocating for war amputees.
Lunn was pleased with the unveiling of a 100th anniversary commerative envelope with Canada Post in February, to mark their centennial. (Photo Supplied)
