The special weather statement for the Thunder Bay area has been upgraded to a winter storm warning.
Environment Canada says a slow moving weather system will bring in 20 to 30 centimetres of snow starting this afternoon.
We’re also expecting strong wind, leading to reduced visibility because of blowing snow.
The storm is forecasted to last through Monday.
