No one is hurt, but a tractor trailer unit is heavily damaged after it was engulfed by fire on the Trans Canada Highway.
Police say it happened 35 kilometres east of Marathon on Highway 17 Wednesday evening at around 7 o’clock after the driver says he experienced mechanical problems. The local fire department as well as Ministry of Natural Resources firefighters put out the inferno.
The highway was closed for approximately one hour while the fire was being extinguished.
