A pick up truck is a total loss and a house also suffered damage after an overnight fire on the south side. Shortly after midnight, fire crews responded to the blaze in the one-thousand block of Alexandra Street and discovered that the flames had spread to the house next door.
Firefighters were able put out the house fire quickly…but not before the home suffered some damage to the outside of the structure. The inside of the home also had water and smoke damage. The truck had been plugged in and fire officials believe a faulty block heater or wiring may have caused the blaze. There were no injuries.
