Thunder Bay is hosting more than 40 free events this weekend as part of Culture Days.
It’s a national event, with organizations across the country celebrating culture and heritage for the seventh year in a row.
Locally, City Spokesperson Ash Young says they’ve added 15 new activities this year, including many at the waterfront. Those include collaborative public art, live music, and open musical theatre rehearsals.
Young says another major hub for Culture Days activities is the Fort William First Nation Fall Pow Wow, which is hosting events throughout the weekend.
