New rules go in place tomorrow in Ontario for motorists at pedestrian crossovers.
As of January 1st, drivers, stopped, must wait until a person is completely across the road.
In Fort Frances, the rule applies particularly to the crossover on King’s Highway. It does not apply to crosswalks at intersections.
Also starting tomorrow, anyone under the age of 19 in Ontario can no longer purchase e-cigarettes.
It’s part of new rules that take effect January 1st.
The new legislation also bans the sale of certain flavoured tobacco products and increases the fines for store convicted of selling tobacco products to youth.
