City police are looking for a suspect in a robbery at Alley’s Variety on Franklin Street last night.
Police say he demanded cash and cigarettes and then ran away.
He’s described as 5’7 tall with a thick build, he was wearing grey sweat pants and a black Air Jordan hoodie.
Meanwhile, officers are also looking for a white man they say robbed the Mac’s Convenience Store on Waterloo Street last night.
He’s described as a white man between 35 to 40 years old. He has a thick build and was seen wearing grey sweat pants and a hoodie.

South Side Convenience Store Robberies
The TBPS is currently investigating two south side convenience store robberies that occurred on the evening of Thursday, March 22, 2018.

Officers attended Alley’s Variety located on Franklin Street at 8:40 p.m. responding to a robbery that had just occurred. The 21 year old female employee reported that a male with his face covered entered the store and demanded cash and cigarettes. The suspect then left on foot. The employee was not injured.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male approximately 5’7″ tall with a thick build. He was wearing grey sweat pants and a black Air Jordan hoodie.

Officers attended Mac’s Convenience Store located on Waterloo Street at approximately 11:30 p.m. to take a report of a robbery.
The 41 year old male employee stated that a male entered the store with his face covered and asked for money and cigarettes before leaving on foot. The employee was not injured.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male approximately 35 to 40 years of age. He is 5’8″ tall with a thick build. He was wearing grey sweat pants, a grey hoodie with the word “JEEP” on the front.
