The federal Liberals remain the most popular party in Canada, according to the latest Nanos research poll.
The survey shows the Liberals with 40.9% support, followed by the Conservatives with 30.7%, the NDP with 19.5 percent, the Greens at 4.8% and the Bloc Quebecois at 3.7.
When asked who they thought was the best leader to be Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau had 45.6%, followed by the Conservatives’ Andrew Scheer at 20.3 percent, the NDP’s Jagmeet Singh at nine percent, and the Green’s Elizabeth May at 4.1 percent.
About 21% said they were unsure which leader they prefered.
