New Apartments Highlight Permit Requests

A number of business people in the city have irons in the fire these days.  

The city says Frank Marino's received a building permit to convert the old gym at 228 Red River Road into a new nightclub.  

The Keg Steakhouse  & Bar is getting the thumbs up to expand and renovate its Hewitson Street restaurant.  

The old Shaw Bakery location on Algoma is being turned into a 12-unit apartment, and there's an application for two new nine-unit apartment buildings on High Street across from the old Hillcrest High School.
