The reliability of Ontario’s hydro grid is being called into question.
Progressive Conservative leader Patrick Brown says last year there were 135 power outages across the province, more than the number in BC, Manitoba, Nova Scotia and Alberta combined.
Energy Minister Glenn Thibeault says there have been outages because of money spent to improve the electrical system and upgrades currently being made.
Thibeault says the system is in better shape than it was and the province continues to ensure Ontarians have power that is both reliable and affordable. (File Photo)
