The Opposition in Ottawa has accused the government of dismissing national security when conducting business with China, over satellites.
Leader Andrew Scheer asked the Prime Minister if omitting security checks was a way giving the Chinese a pass via Cash for Access events.
The PM countered saying rigorous checks were done and Canada’s security is top of mind for him.
Scheer says Justin Trudeau has ignored concerns expressed over certain transactions with the Chinese. (File photo)
