There have been singers who have appeared on Game Of Thrones episodes like members of Coldplay, Mastodon and Ed Sheeran. Now you can add Chris Stapleton to the list.
The country superstar made a blink-and -you’ll-miss-it cameo on this past Sunday’s show “The Long Night”. He played a fallen Winterfell soldier brought back to life by the Night King.
Stapleton’s wife Morgane posted some pics on Instagram with the caption “My wildling is a white walker.”
Stapleton is a big fan of the show and got his management to arrange an appearance on the show. He got dressed up for his role along with his bassist Jarrod Travis and tour manager Jason Hecht.
Stapleton recalled how the shoot went, “So the direction was, basically, we’re going to place you, and when we tell you to, open your eyes. And they trained us on how White Walkers are supposed to stand up and move when they’re first waking up. We had a crash course in that.”
Stapleton, like any fan of the show can’t wait to see how GOT ends. It was a dream come true. That would be cool.
