The Office of the Fire Marshal is investigating a weekend fire at the Hill Court Estates trailer park off Rosslyn Road which resulted in the death of one person.
Authorities tell us another person is in critical condition at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
Spokesperson Mike Rushton explains it’s still to early to say much about the deadly blaze which caused heavy damage.
He says they believe the fire may have starting at the front end of the mobile home.
The cause remains under investigation as well.
Officials say they got the call to 18 Taylor Drive around 2 am Sunday morning.
One person was taken out of the burning unit and pronounced dead at the scene.
It’s not known if there was a working smoke alarm in the mobile home at the time.
