The Ontario Fire Marshal is investigating a fire in Thunder Bay.
Fire Rescue was sent to McIvor Court around 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Upon arrival, firefighters saw smoke through a second-floor window, before entering the building.
Crews found a fire burning in an apartment’s bedroom and quickly put out the flames before it could spread to neighbouring apartments.
One resident was found while Fire Rescue was searching the affected apartment and they were sent to Thunder Bay’s Health Sciences Centre for treatment.
No other apartments were impacted by the fire, and no other injuries were reported.
City police are holding the scene for the marshals, who began their investigation on Thursday.
