Synergy North says new electricity rates will go into effect today.
That’s for most of its customers on the Regulated Price Plan.
There will also be changes with Time of Use, Ultra Low Overnight and Tiered pricing plans.
Starting November 1st, there will also be a 13.1 percent increase to the Ontario Electricity Rebate for residential, small business and farm customers.
Synergy North provides hydro services to both Thunder Bay and Kenora.
