Country Star Chris Young was arrested on Monday night in Nashville after a “hostile” confrontation with Alcoholic Beverage Commission agents. He was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assault on an officer, according to an arrest affidavit. The altercation began at Tin Roof in Midtown Nashville when Agents entered to conduct a compliance check. Agents say they entered the bar, and Chris Young held his ID above his head. They scanned the ID to check validity and walked away, but Young began asking questions and put his hands out to stop an officer from leaving the bar and struck him on the shoulder. The agents then had to “physically detained” Young to put him in handcuffs. Following his arrest, friends of Young began to follow the agents and made the incident become “hostile.” The affidavit also reported that Chris Young had “slurred speech” and “bloodshot and watery” eyes. Chris was released on bond on Tuesday. He’s expected to appear in court on Friday, February 16.
