Call it being at the right place at the right time, as members of the Ontario Provincial Police in Kenora were able to take a wanted woman off the streets.
Officers were on general patrol in Kenora’s downtown core on December 6th when they observed a 44 year old woman wanted on an outstanding warrant.
She was quickly arrested and a search uncovered she was in possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and a can of pepper spray.
Additionally she was also carrying an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency, and items associated with the drug trade.
She’s been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.00
- Possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Fail to comply with release order
The accused appeared in court on Saturday.
