The Anishinabek Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying one of two individuals involved in a break and enter on the Fort William First Nation.
The incident occurred in the early morning hours of November 24th when the two suspects gained entry to Mountain View Variety and made off with almost $10,000 in cigarettes.
The theft was caught on camera from the store’s surveillance system.
Posting on social media late Sunday night APS confirmed it had one person in custody, however the service did not specify which of the two suspects had been apprehended.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
