Ontario’s Special Investigation’s Unit is looking into a custody injury which occurred in Dryden earlier this month.
Members of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a 911 call on November 5th at a motel on the city’s north side around 7:30 p.m.
Upon arrival officers located two people, a man and a woman on the balcony of a 3rd floor room.
As they approached the 32 year old man, according to an SIU spokesperson, “went over” the railing, and fell to the ground below.
He was taken to hospital with undisclosed, but serious injuries.
Two investigators have been assigned by the police watchdog and anyone with information is asked to contact them.
