No injuries have been reported following a fire Saturday night at Centennial Square.
Fire crews responded to the rear of the building at approximately 9:00 p.m. and found both smoke and flames, which prompted a call for a second alarm.
Fortunately the initial pumper response was able to put water on the building’s exterior and bring the fire under control.
A search inside the building was also conducted to ensure it was vacant.
The fire remains under investigation, Thunder Bay Fire Rescue is also reminding residents to call 911 immediately if they encounter an unattended fire.
