Two people were injured in a suspected stabbing along Winnipeg Ave.
Police arrived at the scene on Wednesday night and located two people, an 18 and 16 year old, both victims.
The youth suspected of the assault had called 911 about the incident and details about his whereabouts.
The youth turned himself into the police without incident. The accused is also claiming to be a victim of an alleged assault.
The two male victims were transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for further evaluation and treatment of their injuries. The extent of those injuries is unknown, but are not believed to be life-threatening.
The accused now faces two charges of Aggravated Assault.
The accused’s name is being withheld per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The accused appeared in bail court on Thursday, March 30 and was released with conditions and a future appearance date.
