OPP in Thunder Bay is welcoming two new team members.
PC Amy Sloan and her K9 partner Edo, a two-year-old Belgian Malinois are the newest recruits to the northwest.
Sloan has been a constable with the service since 2013 and was most recently with the Emergency Response Team.
The pair recently finished their General Service Dog course in Orillia and will join the Thunder Bay detachment as the K9 team.
Edo is trained in search and rescue through scent tracking but soon will take a five-week course to be a drug-sniffing dog.
