Thunder Bay Police have made an arrest for drug trafficking in the city’s south side.
On Wednesday afternoon, city police and OPP executed a search warrant at a home along Amelia Street West.
The suspect was quickly arrested while officers searched the home.
Police seized a large knife, and bear spray (both of which were in violation of the suspects’ release conditions), along with a quantity of suspected crack cocaine, fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, cash, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
The investigation determined the apparent and only reason for being in Thunder Bay was to participate in the drug trafficking trade.
The accused is facing five various drug-related charges.
