Thunder Bay Police say a sudden death at a southside hotel is being considered a homicide.
The body of a 21 year old Marten Falls man was located on Christmas Eve in a room at the Kingsway Inn.
Police were called to several locations on the afternoon of December 24th to locate a male who family had not heard from.
A post-mortem is pending and will take place in Toronto.
The identity of the deceased has been confirmed however the identity is not being made public by police at this time as they continue to speak with family.
Anyone with information that could assist in the investigation is asked to contact city police or Crime Stoppers.
