With the winter storm expected to be worse in southern Ontario, some airlines are cancelling flights.
WestJet has cancelled today’s flights (Fri. Dec. 23) from Thunder Bay that were headed to Toronto.
The cancellations also affect incoming flights to Thunder Bay from WestJet.
The airline has cancelled flights in British Columbia as well, as they are also experiencing extreme weather.
Since Sunday, WestJet has cancelled 1,044 flights.
