Ontario Provincial Police have arrested a 32 year old Thunder Bay man following a traffic stop on Highway 17.
The vehicle was westbound inside the Township of Ignace when officers conducted the stop.
During the stop further investigation revealed the driver was in possession of approximately 36o grams of suspected cocaine, with a street value of $54,000.
The driver has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
The accused appeared in Kenora bail court Tuesday to answer to the charge.
