Thunder Bay OPP have charged a driver with careless driving following a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 102 Thursday afternoon.
Police say the incident occurred east of Law Road shortly before 1 p.m. after a westbound tractor trailer unit lost control, crossed the centre line and ended up in the eastbound ditch, resulting in a rollover where it hit a hydro pole.
The driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries and was subsequently charged.
Traffic on the highway was reduced to one lane as a result of the incident.
Synergy North was dispatched to the incident and its outage map indicates up to 100 people have been affected.
