Two people have been arrested after a home takeover investigation.
On Nov. 30, city police were called to a home on Cumberland Street South just before 3pm after receiving reports of unwanted individuals in the home who were refusing to leave.
Police found multiple people inside, including two males who were later wanted for suspected participation in other drug-trafficking activity.
The two males, both from Toronto, were taken into custody.
One suspect is a 23 year old, and the other is 17. Officers found suspected fentanyl, crack cocaine, cash and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking during the arrest.
The estimated street value of drugs seized totals $33,000.
Both suspects are facing eight combined charges and have been remanded into custody with future appearance dates.
