A fatal collision East of Nipigon has closed highway 17.
The collision was reported by Ontario Provincial Police shortly before 4 p.m. after passenger vehicle collided with a tractor trailer unit. Officials with the OPP say the investigation is ongoing at this time.
Meanwhile the MTO is reporting Highway 17 is closed from Sistonen Corners to Ignace due to a collision. The incident was reported shortly before 7 p.m. No details have been made available.
UPDATE:
A third collision, this time on Highway 11 between Nipigon and Beardmore has closed that highway as of 8:30 p.m. Tuesday evening.
