Thunder Bay Police are investigating a single motor vehicle collision which took place Monday night out in Oliver Paipoonge which sent two people to hospital.
Police, Superior North EMS, and Oliver Paipoonge Fire and Emergency Services were called to private property on Calvert Road shortly after 9:30 p.m. to reports of a snowmobile that had collided with a tree.
Both victims were transported to hospital for evaluation and treatment of their injuries, which are believed to be serious but not life threatening.
Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Traffic Unit are investigating.
