As Thunder Bay Police continue to investigate the city’s 14th homicide, they are also investigating an attempted homicide after a man arrived at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre this morning with injuries believed to be a result of a shooting.
When police arrived at the hospital they confirmed the injuries to be consistent with a gunshot wound.
Investigators say they believe the incident to have occurred in the area of Victoria Avenue East and Marks Street North, and are appealing to the public for assistance.
Specifically they are looking for dashcam footage or video surveillance from homes or businesses around the areas of Victoria Avenue between Waterloo Street North and Brodie Street South between 4:30 a.m. and 6 a.m.
