Changes are coming to flight schedules for two major airlines who operate out of the Thunder Bay Airport.
Starting January 16th Air Canada will be reducing the number of flights to Toronto from three to two.
The company says this is to build more resiliency into its 2023 schedule, and intends to revert back starting May first.
Meanwhile officials with Westjet say that airline will be flying to Toronto once daily, with a secondary flight added on weekends between now and January,
and flights from Thunder Bay to Winnipeg will happen daily. An expansion from its 2021 schedule of five times a week.
