Ontario Provincial Police have arrested and charged a third youth in connection to a homicide in the community of Wabaseemoong last month.
A 15-year-old youth, who cannot be named due to provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act has been charged with Robbery, contrary to Section 344 (1) (B) of the Criminal Code.
On October 27th Treaty Three Police and EMS responded to an individual with life-threatening injuries, who was later transported to hospital but pronounced deceased.
The death was initially treated as suspicious and an investigation by T3PS and the OPP later upgraded it to a homicide.
Last week two other youths, aged 14 and 17 respectively, were each arrested and charged with second degree murder, break and enter, and robbery.
They remain in custody, however the OPP did not include in their update if the 15-year-old had appeared in court or if they remain in custody.
