Thunder Bay Police are investigating an attempted robbery which occurred on the city’s North side late last month, but was not reported until a week later.
In a release police say on the evening of September 28th three people in the 300 block of High Street North were approached by three unknown young males who asked them for their wallet. The request was denied and the males walked away, leaving the victims frightened.
Police only learned of the incident after Lakehead University contacted them on October 5th requesting assistance.
Police are strongly urging anyone who believes they may have been a victim of a crime to contact them and report the incident as soon as possible.
