Thunder Bay’s most recent former mayor has moved on to a new gig.
Announced today, Bill Mauro will be an associate at Pathway Group which acts as a government relations and public affairs firm.
Mauro resigned his seat as Mayor of Thunder Bay in late August, with his last council meeting in September.
He says his 25 years in both municipal and provincial government have provided him with many contacts which will give him a bit of an advantage, and while the company is based in Toronto, Mauro will be staying and won’t be moving out of Thunder Bay.
