Sunday, active and retired officers, along with friends and family will take time to remember those killed in the line of duty.
The Thunder Bay Police Service and the Thunder Bay Police Association are hosting a memorial service in recognition of National Police and Peace Officers Memorial Day which is this Sunday, Sept. 25.
The local services will be open to the public St. Paul’s Anglican Church on Ridgeway Street East starting at 2pm.
Nationally, this is a day when we recognize and pay our respects to those that have given the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
Locally, we will be remembering and honouring the memory of Cst. John Kusznier and Cst. Joseph Prevett.
