Despite the warmer weather gradually settling in, you can’t fully enjoy it just yet.
Under the current provincial COVID-19 rules and regulations, recreation camping on public land is not allowed.
There are some exceptions.
They include the exercising of treaty rights, where written authorization has been issued by the Province and for temporary outdoor accommodations needed for essential services.
The restriction also does not apply to camping at provincial parks, though camping season at the parks doesn’t start until May 21.
