Thunder Bay’s police are warning residents about a scam making its way around.
City police were made aware that there are scammers who will closely watch customers when making purchases to obtain their pin number before stealing the card.
These scammers, known as shoulder surfers, often take advantage of seniors.
Residents are reminded to be aware of their surroundings when using a debit or credit card to make purchases.
