A local initiative continues to garner positive attention.
Thunder Bay’s Community Economic Development Commission’s Instagram account has surpassed 10,000 followers.
@Thunderbaylifestyle focuses on the key reasons people choose to relocate to the city including quality of life, housing affordability and cost of living.
The account also showcases life in Thunder Bay, including local activities.
“We’ve received really positive feedback from the community and our online engagement has been fantastic,” said the CEO of Thunder Bay CEDC Jamie Taylor. “The platform is a great resource for anyone considering Thunder Bay as a place to live and work. We’re also encouraging local employers to utilize the platform as a tool for attracting new talent.”
The account opened in November 2023 and the CEDC plans to continue to use it as a tool to highlight the city.
