Council in Thunder Bay will look to make additions to the controversial issue of where tents for the homeless can be used in the city.
Councillors will look to add minimum distance guidelines of at least five metres between railways and rivers.
That’s in addition to defined space between tents and places like schools, playgrounds and homes.
Council spent more than three hours on the issue at their meeting on June 24.
While the initial recommendations were approved, it was evident that there were some concerns with the proposed distances.
The issue will be discussed further during their meeting on Monday.
