Changes will be coming to the Thunder Bay District Social Services Administration Board following the announcement its Chief Administrative Officer, Bill Bradica, will be retiring at the end of the year.
A Chartered Professional Accountant by profession, Bradica first joined the TBDSSAB in 2001, moving through the organization and serving as Finance Manager and Director of Corporate Services before taking on the top job in 2012, and says he is grateful for those 22 years, and will make the most of his 23rd.
“I look forward to continuing the strategic initiatives we have in progress and working with the Board to transition the organization to new leadership,” says Bradica. “I am grateful to the amazing team that I’ve had alongside me, and who have implemented so many important initiatives over the years.”
Chair Brian Hamilton offered his congratulations to Bradica, thanking him for his years of dedication.
“Bill leaves behind a legacy of organizational excellence and has been a tremendous asset to the Board. As Chair, I look forward to this final year working with Bill as we transition to new leadership.”
At its January meeting, the TBDSSAB Board of Directors established a hiring committee which will oversee the recruitment of a new Chief Administrative Officer.
