An investigation into drug trafficking in the Rocky Bay area has led to charges against a woman from the territory.
It was prompted by public complaints made to the Anishinabek Police Service, which required the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police.
An arrest warrant was issued for a 52 year old Rocky Bay First Nation woman, which was completed on January 9th.
She faces one count of drug trafficking, specifically for crystal methamphetamine, however police did not indicate if any drugs were seized as part of the investigation.
The accused has since been remanded into custody and is awaiting a bail hearing.
