Ontario Provincial Police in Kenora are seeking the public’s assistance as they try to piece together the toppling of the Main Street Christmas Tree in the city’s downtown.
A photo published Sunday to social media shows the tree on its side, with police calling it an act of mischief.
A release from the OPP states officers attending the scene the just after 11:00 p.m. Saturday confirmed the tree had been sawed down.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the detachment or Crime Stoppers.
