Limbrick weapons incident under investigation

Reports of gunshots in the Limbrick Street area Tuesday night remain under investigation by the Thunder Bay Police Service.

Officers from both the Primary Response Branch and Emergency Task Unit were called to the area shortly before 9:00 p.m.

Now the investigation has brought in members of the Major Crimes unit.

A police presence remains in the area, however officials say there is no threat to public safety at this time.
