A third fatality has occurred in just as many days on the Trans Canada Highway, this time near Pass Lake.
Ontario Provincial Police say a Longlac resident was the victim of a three vehicle collision, which involved two passenger vehicles and a commericial transport.
The 63 year old was taken to hospital by paramedics but succumbed to their injuries, while an unknown number of others involved in the collision received minor injuries.
An investigation remains ongoing, meanwhile police continue to investigate two other collisions, which claimed the lives of a 31 year old from Southern Ontario and a 23 year old from Manitoba, near Dorion and English River respectively.
All three of the collisions involved at least one commercial tractor trailer unit.
