Ontario Provincial Police say it is investigating the death at a home in Dryden.
Officers and paramedics were called to a Duke Street home just after 12:00 a.m. on December 6th, where they discovered a deceased person.
A post-mortem examination will be taking place in Toronto at the Centre of Forensic Sciences to both confirm the identity of the victim and their cause of death.
Police do not believe there is any threat to public safety.
The investigation is continuing with assistance from the Crime Unit, Regional Support Team, Forensic Identification Services under the direction of the Criminal Investigation Branch alongside the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
