Students will be in class today at St. Ignatius High School after investigating a threat made yesterday afternoon.
In a release the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board says initially the incident forced the cancellation of after school and community use at the school Tuesday.
However, just after 10:00 p.m. the Board issued a second release giving the all clear stating:
“The school is safe and ready to be reopened. All classes and school activities will resume tomorrow.”
It adds the Early Release Day will resume as scheduled for Wednesday.
This incident near mirrors a similar incident at St. Patrick High School which closed that site for the entirety of Tuesday.
Meanwhile city police continue to investigate.
