Ontario Provincial Police in Greenstone are seeking the assistance of the public as they continue to investigate a sudden death on Highway 11.
First responders were called to an area of the highway near Long Lake 58 First Nation around 3:00 p.m. Saturday to a report of a deceased person, who has since been identified as 41 year old Kathleen Desmoulin, a member of the community.
In a post issued only on social media OPP say they were responding to a collision, at near Beaver Street, west of Longlac, which closed part of the highway for almost 24 hours.
A second social media post indicated the possibility of a vehicle being involved stating “will have front end damage and is possibly missing a side mirror”.
