Thunder Bay Mayor, Ken Boshcoff, officially terminated the city’s municipal emergency that was put in place during the pandemic.
Originally enacted on April 23, 2020, it allowed the city to continue essential and critical services to residents.
Over the course of three years, Thunder Bay has reported 142 deaths directly connected to Covid-19.
Across the province, there have been 1,608,610 total reported cases of the virus and 16,399 deaths.
Rapid antigen tests are still available at most pharmacies and some grocery stores.
