The shooter was a bank employee that shot and killed five people and injured eight others in Louisville Kentucky.
Yesterday, the 25 year old gunman live-streamed his attack before being killed by police after exchanging fire.
Four people died at the scene, another succumbed to their injuries later in the hospital. An officer was also shot and remains in critical condition.
With another shooting reported just hours later at a technical college, there have been 146 mass shootings in the US since January 1st. And it’s only 101 days into 2023.
President Joe Biden used the incidents to call on Congress to pass legislation around the safe storage of firearms, he’s calling for background checks on all gun sales and also wants to eliminate gun manufacturers’ immunity from liability.
